Our Story
The news that we were expecting triplets changed our lives. Born prematurely at 32 weeks, the Boden triplets fought their way to health trying to catch up on the developmental curve. The triplets were later joined by two younger siblings (one at a time) and several golden retrievers to complete our family. In 2010 the Boden Triplets graduated Lakeside High School as the top three students (Valedictorian and Co-Salutatorians) in their class of over 300 with accolades including Editor of the Yearbook, Editor of the Newspaper, Captain of the Softball, Golf, and Basketball teams, Class officers in Student government, Beta Club, Gold Awards (Girls Scouts), and many other accomplishments. They were recruited student athletes at top colleges. The younger siblings are following on the same trajectory of academic excellence and school involvement and leadership.
In April 2010, a local journalist wrote a summary of the Boden Triplets accomplishments for a blog in the major Atlanta newspaper. Within hours the Associated Press picked up the story and it then appeared on local and national radio, print, television, and internet outlets. The responses and comments on the blogs were overwhelmingly positive and shared a common theme: "These parents must have done something right" to raise three siblings that are each a "Triple Threat" with excellence in academics, sports/extracurricular involvement, and interpersonal/social interactions. It was those consistent comments from around the country that led our family to try to share what we have learned about motivating children to realize their full potential.
